Julie Anne Green

Julie Anne Green, 66, of Freeport, died Sunday June 6, 2021 at Ascension Living St. Joseph Village in Freeport, Il. She was born November 26, 1954 in Woodstock, IL, the daughter of John and Donna (Reed) Hans Untersee. Julie married Tom Green September 12, 1981. Julie was a 1974 graduate of Freeport High School. She worked at Mitek, Malcolm Eaton, and McDonalds. She also volunteered at FHN Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed movies, doing puzzles, and going to Disneyland. She was a big Elvis and St. Louis Cardinals fan. Julie is survived by her husband, Tom Green of Freeport, IL; sisters, Candy (Doug) Diddens and Cindy (Tim) Tessendorf both of Freeport, IL; brothers, Scott (Barb) Untersee of Casa Grande, AZ, Kurt (Connie) Untersee of Roscoe, IL, and Bob (Kelly) Untersee of Freeport, IL; also numerous nieces and nephews. Julie was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday June 11, 2021 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Burial of cremains will take place in Grandview Cemetery.
