Julie A. Mcintyre

Julie A. McIntyre, 57, of Freeport, died Wednesday February 17, 2016 at FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport. She was born January 19, 1959 in Freeport, IL, the daughter of William and Joan (Walz) Woods. She married Timothy McIntyre on November 30, 2002. Julie worked as a daycare provider for many years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, The Moose Lodge, and The Eagles Club. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining, deck parties, soap operas, camping in Crystal Lake, and most of all spending time with her family and friends. Julie is survived by her husband Timothy McIntyre of Freeport, IL; son Joshua Johnson of Rochester, MN; three daughters Angela (Patrick) LaBudde of Pearl City, IL and Melissa (Nathan) Kluck, and Peggy Johnson both of Freeport; her brother Earl Woods of Norwalk, OH; three sisters Mary (Don Merchant) Woods, Kelly Clark, and Debra (Dean) Truman all of Freeport, IL; two sister-in-laws Terri Glick and Susan (Russ) Snyder both of Freeport; two brother-in-laws Greg (Tammy) McIntyre of Machesney Park, IL and Brian Schemel; six grandchildren Carter and Caeley Johnson, Howie and Dustin Kluck, Jason LaBudde, and Paige Stichter; Nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her two dogs Kelly and Mandy. She was preceded in death by her father, grandparents, her brother Michael Woods, and her brother-in-law David Clark. A funeral mass will be held 10:30 A.M. Monday February 22, 2016 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Freeport, with Father Timothy Barr officiating. Visitation will be from noon-4:00 P.M. Sunday February 21, 2016 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport, and from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service at the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in her memory.
