Joyce Fosler

Joyce L. Fosler, 90, of Freeport, died Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Presence St. Joseph Center. Joyce was born on December 11, 1924 in Jo Daviess County, the daughter of William and Josephine Tiechler. Joyce worked at Burgess Package Production and Jeanne's Child Care. She married John Fosler on June 11, 1955 in Galena. He died on February 19, 1998. Joyce was a graduate of Stockton High School class of 1943. She enjoyed dancing, reading and listening to music. She loved dogs and her beloved Taz. Survivors include one son, Greg King of Toas, N.M.; one daughter, Marci (Dan Prather) of Freeport; son in law, John Peterson; and one sister LaVonne Feltmeyer of Stockton; five grandchildren; Todd Ripp, Nichol (Kyle Bornerman) Prather, Seth Prather, Tara (Chris) Muntz and Rick Bons. Preceded in death by her parents and daughter Rhonda Petersen Memorial services will be Tuesday 11 a.m. at Chapel of Peace, Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
