Joyce A. Parriott

Joyce A. Parriott, 76, of Shannon, died Tuesday June 24, 2014 at University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison, WI. She was born July 1, 1937 in Freeport, IL, the daughter of William and Lucille (Delk) Henze. Joyce married Franklin Clark on August, 30 1958; he died December 18, 1987; she married Bob Parriott on September 28, 1980; he died September 10, 1993. Joyce managed the Freeport Elks Lodge 617 and the owned and operated Parriott Burger and Brew in Shannon, IL. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and following NASCAR. Joyce is survived by her three sons Daniel Clark of Davis, IL, Gary Clark of Salisbury, NC, and Dave (Dawn) Clark of Freeport, IL; two stepsons David Parriott and Todd Parriott; three grandchildren Craig, Kyle, and Chelsea Clark; and two great-grandchildren Gavin and Talon. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; her brother Lyle; and her stepson Scott. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday June 30, 2014 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service also at Burke-Tubbs in Freeport. Burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in her memory.
