Joseph Henry Hoeper

Joseph Henry Hoeper, 87, of Freeport, died Sunday May 13, 2018 at Stephenson Nursing Center. Joseph was born September 13, 1930 in New Diggins Township, Wisconsin, the son of Emery and Rosella (Kisting) Hoeper. Joseph proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for 11 years before retiring as a Major in 1963. Surviving are his brother, Ervin (Mary) Hoeper of Melbourne, Florida; thee sisters, Evelyn Roethlisberger of Freeport; Mary Winslow of Darlington, Wisconsin and Delores (Pete) Burmeister of Clarence, Missouri; sister-in-law, Joan Hoeper of Warren; and several nieces and nephews. Joseph was preceded in death by his sister, Kathryn Hoeper; and brother, Vernon Hoeper. Funeral mass will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday June 9, 2018 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church (730 Wells St. Darlington, Wisconsin). Father T. Joji Reddy will officiate. Burial will be in Rosary Cemetery.
