Jon Patrick Miller

Jon Patrick Miller, 39, of Freeport, IL passed away Thursday September 1, 2022 at FHN Memorial Hospital. He was born November 9, 1982 in Sterling, IL. He was adopted by Rick Miller and Patricia Erickson-Miller in June of 1986. Jon's hobbies included cooking, watching all types of movies, and reading, especially Stephen King and Michael Crichton novels. He is survived by his parents Rick Miller and Patricia Erickson-Miller of Freeport; IL sisters Krista (Todd Brown) Miller of Milford, IL and Erica Miller of Freeport, IL; aunt Peggy Auwerda of Strattford, IA; uncle Arvid (Sandy) Miller of Schaumburg, IL; great aunt and uncle Arden (Karen) Miller of Huntley, IL; niece Jazzmyn Brown; step-grandmother Cindy Miller of South Elgin, IL; two special cats Special and Nigita; and numerous cousins and friends. Preceding Jon in death are his grandparents Rose and Daniel Covelli Jr.; grandfather Arvid Miller; grandparents Bill and Midge Erickson; great grandparents Kermit and Ruth Erickson; and aunt Dawn Miller; and great uncle and aunt Laurence and Audrey Coltrin. A celebration of life will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday September 12, 2022 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Gearing officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service. A memorial has been established in Jon's memory.
