John Henry Huenefeld

John Henry Huenefeld 59 passed away on April 1,2025.

He was born on November 17th 1965 in Freeport II to Frederick and Betty (Gerloff) Huenefeld.

He worked at Bergstrom mg for 12 years, Delta Power from 2000 to 2022, Rockford Electric Motor from 2022 to 2025.

John married his high school sweetheart Martina Davis on July 16th 1988.

He loved spending time with his family and friends, loved boating riding the four wheeler, snowmobiles hunting, going fishing with his niece Emily. When he walked in the room you knew he arrived.

John is survived by his wife of 36 years Martina, son John Jr& Anna pride and joy Grandson Henry, cat Mittens Mother Betty, bothers Robert & Lori, Edgar &Laurie, Donald & Cindy Sisters Vicki Page, Diane Berogan, Martha Huenefeld Several Aunts & Uncles, and Nieces, Nephews, & Friends.

Special friends Mike & Becky Miller, Jonny Stewart.

He is preceded in death by his father Frederick, bothers Frederick Jr., Paul, Henry and sisters Eleanore, Nancy, brother in laws Franklin Berogan, and Larry Page.

Memorial services will be held 5:00 P.M. Friday April 11, 2025 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport. A visitation will be held from 3:30 P.M. until the time of service. A memorial has been established in John’s memory.
