John E. Pearson, 69, of Freeport, died Friday July 29, 2011 at FHN Memorial Hospital. John was born June 20, 1942 in Freeport the son of Reed and Myrtle (Rouse) Pearson. John married Marion McIntosh in St. Paul Minnesota. John served for the U.S. Air Force. He worked as a skycap at the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. Survivors include, wife; Marion Pearson, sons; Craig (Latonja) Pearson of Minneapolis, MN, and Edjorn Pearson of Janesville, WI, daughter; Natosha Pearson of Cape Girardeau, MO, brothers, Floyd (Beatrice) Pearson of Hawthorne, CA, Ronald (Eileen) Pearson of Phoenix, AZ, and James Seals of Freeport. Preceded in death by his parents, Reed and Myrtle Pearson, brother; William Pearson Sr., sisters; Cleora Kidd and Darlene Pearson and grandchildren; Latika D. Pearson and Kenji Pearson. Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday August 5, 2011 in St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Ovester Armstrong Jr. officiating. Burial will be at City Cemetery.
