John David Baker

John D. Baker, 49, of Forreston, died Monday, April 24, 2017 in his home. John was born August 11, 1967 in Sycamore, Illinois, the son of Gene A. and Dwina (Meyer) Baker. He married Angela Musso on December 27, 1991 in Ogle County. John worked as a heavy equipment operator for many years. He enjoyed coaching and following all of his children's sporting events, riding his Harley and camping and fishing with his family. Surviving are his wife, Angela Baker of Forreston; mother, Dwina Baker of Oregon; two daughters, Mykil M. Baker of Rockford and Mackenzie I. Baker of Forreston; and three sisters, Tess Monroe of Florida, Dawn Soule of Florida and Angela Bowman of Leaf River. John was preceded in death by his father. Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday April 29, 2017 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home, Forreston. Pastor Steve Erickson will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
