Joan K. Snapp

Joan K. Snapp, 60, of Freeport, died Wednesday, December, 23, 2015 at FHN Memorial Hospital. She was born January 4, 1955 in Freeport, IL, the daughter of Albert and Janice Snapp. She worked at Honeywell for 26 years. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Freeport. She enjoyed doing volunteer work, reading, and historical research. Joan is survived by her sister Jean Snapp of Minneapolis, MN; three cousins Charles Berends, Peggy Duncan, and Robert Snapp; extended family; neighbors; and special friends Teresa, Judy, and Joey Shenberger. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, and one cousin. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday December 29, 2015 at Faith United Methodist Church in Freeport with Rev. John Wesley Lee officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. until the time of service at the church.
