Jennie L. Seiver

Jennie L. Seiver, 83, of Freeport, died Wednesday July 15, 2015 at Presence St. Joseph Center in Freeport. She was born December 31, 1931 in Macomb, IL the daughter of Ivan and Lois (Normandin) McCullough. She married Everett R. Seiver August 26, 1951 at Christian Church in Macomb, IL; he died October 13, 1987. Jennie worked at Micro Switch for 24 years. She was a member of Community Reformed Church. She volunteered for her church and as a telephone receptionist at the Stephenson County Senior Center. She enjoyed gardening, swimming, and spending time with her family. Jennie is survived by her two sons Jeffrey (Sandy) Seiver of Freeport, Il and James (Michelle) Seiver of Franklin, IN; her daughter Janet (Terry) Klever of Davis, IL; four grandchildren Miranda Seiver, Stacy (Jeremy) DeMay, Shane (Paige) Klever, and Jacob Seiver; and two great-grandchildren Kora Klever and Kailynn DeMay. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday July 17, 2015 at Community Reformed Church with Pastor Herbert Bollman officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at the church. Burial will be in Cranes Grove Cemetery.
