Jeanne A Knipschield

Jeanne A. Knipschield, 90, of Freeport, died Saturday, March 26, 2011 at the Stephenson Nursing Center. Jeanne was born on April 11, 1920, in Freeport the daughter of Warren G. and Anne (Brown) Scovill. Jeanne attended the Freeport Schools. On June 9, 1942 she married Lorenz G. Knipschield. He passed away on November 25, 1977. Jeanne worked at Micro Switch until two days after World War II when her job was eliminated, from then on she was a housewife. She enjoyed watching Nascar races, late night entertainment shows and enjoying the sights and views while traveling to and from Lake Wisconsin at Merrimac, Wisconsin. Survivors include; one son, Larry of Freeport, one sister, Joyce Bull of Freeport, one brother, Richard (Sybil) Scovill of Freeport. Also surviving are 3 nieces and 6 nephews. Preceded her in death were her parents, husband and her sister Marge. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday 10:30 A.M. at St. Joseph'™s Church. Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service at the Church. Burial will be at St. Joseph'™s Cemetery in Freeport.
