Jeanette Lorene Boettner

July 28, 1952 — June 12, 2021

Jeanette Lorene Boettner, age 68, went home to be with the Lord on June 12, 2021 shortly after being diagnosed with an unexpected illness. She was surrounded by her loving children. They sang to her as she peacefully transitioned and was ushered into heaven. She is now reunited with her daughter, husband, and loved ones who went before her. Jeanette was born on July 28, 1952, daughter of Milo and Betty Kropf and oldest of 7 siblings. She graduated from Sterling High School in 1971. Shortly after, she met the love of her life, "Steven Neal", who went on to be her husband of 44 years. They married on April 20, 1975 making a life long commitment and joining together on life's journey. She would often reminisce and talk about how he used to spin her around at Krape Park full of such bliss and happiness. Jeanette, aka Mama Queen Bee, birthed 10 beautiful children. She took pride in her children and considered that her greatest accomplishment in life. She always said her children's success was her success. She loved spending time with her family and all of her 12 grandchildren. It brought her so much joy. She had a special bond with each and every one of them. Her personality and presence was truly infectious. People knew her for her little sayings and songs, homemade cards and her delightful cookies and pies. You could always find her singing, playing the guitar or on her keyboard. She especially loved to harmonize with her sisters and family. She had a such a jovial spirit and a peppiness about her. Jeanette's true focus in life was her faith. She had unwavering faith and a true confidence in Jesus Christ. One verse she quoted often was Romans 8:38-39. (For I am convinced that neither death nor life... will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord) Many live for this world, but she truly lived a life for God and for her eternal home in heaven. Jeanette is survived by; siblings Merlin Kropf, Sally Landis, Sandy Kropf, Ann Kurtz (Bob), Rita Miller (Derrick), Dale Kropf & Noland Kropf (Kelsey); 9 children, Nathan (Amanda) Boettner, Charity Truckenmiller, Jess Boettner, Stepheny Braun, Joel (Sarah) Boettner, Seth (Lori) Boettner, Sarah (Joe) McKinney, Simona (Chris) Render & Abbigail (Michael) Schneiderman; 12 grandchildren along with 1 on the way; and numerous relatives and friends as well. Jeanette will be greatly missed. While she may not be present on this earth, her spirit lives on and will be carried on for many generations to come. Her loved ones will always carry a piece of her inside their heart. They rest in the fact that she is in a better place and find comfort knowing that they will see her again in heaven.
