Jean Marie Trimble, age 71 of Freeport IL passed peacefully Tuesday morning surrounded by loved ones. Jean was born on June 14, 1953 to Edward and Neva (Veer) Gaulrapp at Great Lakes Naval Hospital. She graduated from Aquin Catholic School in 1971. She married the love of her life, Larry Trimble, in June of 1971. They raised three wonderful Children - James (Brittany Werrline) Trimble of Monroe WI, Marie (Jeff Conter) Stott of Freeport IL, and Kay (Kurt) Schlosser of Orangeville IL. Jean has nine amazing grandchildren, Christian, Aiden, Katherine, Kylie, Wriglie, Addison, Ross, Kade, and Bryant and as she would say she “loved them to the moon and back”.

Jean was a loyal Catholic and a member of St. Mary’s Church. She spent many hours helping her church and family in any way she could. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. She loved to have her children, grandchildren and nieces and nephews over to cook, bake and spend time together.

In addition to her children and grandchildren Jean is survived by Her Mother Neva Barthel of Freeport, Brothers Bud Gaulrapp of Lake Carroll, George (Karrie) Gaulrapp of Freeport; sisters Mary (Jim) Leverington of Freeport, Lois (Kirk) Deininger of Freeport, and Rose (Bill) Smull of Freeport, and sister in-law Terry (Bill) Olmstead also of Freeport. Along with many nieces and nephews that she adored.

She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Trimble, father Edward “Dutch” Gaulrapp, step father Eugene “Gene” Barthel, inlaws Jim and Lucille Trimble, sister in law Sarah Heckman, nephew Keith Gaulrapp, and niece Kristina Jacobs.

Visitation and Service will be held at Burke Tubbs on Monday, April 28th. Visitation 1pm - 3pm with Service to follow at 3pm. A gathering will be held at Generations following the service.
