Jason R. Stichter

Jason 'J.R. & Buba' Stichter, 29, of Freeport, died Saturday, September 15, 2012, at Rush Copley Hospital in Aurora. Jason was born on January 24, 1983, in Freeport, the son of Randy and Cheryl (Stake) Stichter. Jason was employed in janitorial services. On November 21, 2007, Jason married Jennifer Guentherman. He was a member of Bible Community Church. Buba enjoyed fishing, working on puzzles, and playing video games and cards. Jason'™s kids and family were always most important to him. Survivors include his wife; Jennifer Stichter, of Freeport, parents; Randy and Cheryl Stichter, of Freeport, son; Isaac Stichter, of Freeport, daughter; Stephanie Stichter, sister; Tracie (Jason) Coleman, of Aurora, grandmother; Joan Stake of Lena, mother and father in-law; Sherry and Joseph Luy, of Freeport. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by three grandfathers, two grandmothers, a niece, and father-in-law; Jeff Guentherman Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 21, at Bible Community Church with Pastor Kurt Strong officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 12:30 P.M. until the time of service at the church.
