Jason A. Veer

Jason A. Veer, 22, of Freeport, died Friday June 22, 2012 in Freeport, as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was born on November 7, 1989 in Freeport, Il, the son of Timothy and Donna (Snyder) Veer. Jason was a 2008 graduate of Freeport High school. He was employed at the Sherwin-Williams paint store and also at The Freeport School District 145. He was affiliated with Immanuel Lutheran Church in Freeport. Jason enjoyed fishing, camping, Hot Rod cars, hunting, target practice, and motorcycles. Survivors include his parents Tim and Donna Veer of Freeport; one son Daylain Veer of Freeport; one brother Jeremy Veer of Freeport; godmother; Sandra Kraft of Freeport, godfather; Tave Kraft of Pearl City; his maternal grandparents Don and Darlene Snyder of German Valley; and his paternal grandparents Fritz and Margaret Siegenthaler of Montello, WI. Also surviving are special friends 'Aunt Carol and Uncle Jeff Bowers' . Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents Harm and Elane Veer. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday June 27, 2012 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport with Rev Dr. Willis Schwichtenberg officiating. Visitation will be held from 3-7 Tuesday at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport. Burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his memory.
