Jasen "Shorty" D. Shrader

Jasen "Shorty" Daniel Shrader, 41, of Freeport, IL passed away Monday June 6, 2022 at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oaklawn, IL. He was born September 29, 1980 in Rockford, IL the son of Richard and Susan Shrader. Jasen enjoyed fishing, cooking and was an avid fan of Chicago sports that included the Bears, Bulls and White Sox. He is survived by his four children Xzavier, Tierra, Kailey and Mattelynn; grandson Christopher Flowers Jr.; mother Susan (Randy) Fennell of Freeport, IL; grandmother Geneva Ross of Indiana; and sister Melissa (Patrick) Keho of Freeport, IL. He is also survived by his cousin Jesse, childhood friend Donny, and many other family and friends. Preceding him in death is his father Richard Shrader, maternal grandparents Frank and Jesse Lindenmeier and paternal grandfather Louis Ross. A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday June 18, 2022 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport. A visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service.
