Janice Rinehart

Janice Rinehart, 65, of Freeport, IL, passed away Thursday September 26, 2024 at Pearl Pavilion in Freeport. She was born January 1, 1959 in Savanna, IL, the daughter of Miles and Betty (Tupper) Kahl. Janice married Ted Rinehart May 3, 1986 in Freeport, IL

Janice graduated from Elizabeth High School in 1977, and from Highland Community College in 1979. She worked as a claims adjuster for Metlife for 43 years.

Janice is survived by her husband Ted Rinehart of Freeport, IL; daughter, Angelia McCoy of Dubuque, IA; brother, Jim (Connie) Kahl of Elizabeth, IL; and sister’s Connie (Steve) Bogart of Baker City, OR and Jeanette Biava of Dekalb, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial services will be 6:00 pm Friday October 11, 2024 at Burke Tubbbs Funeral Home, Chaplain Sean Huguenin will officiate. Visitation from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
