Janice R. Nubbymyer

Janice R. Nubbymyer, 64, of Wheeling and formerly of Freeport, died Friday, January 6, 2017 at Presence St. Joseph Center, Freeport. Janice was born January 20, 1952 in Freeport, the daughter of Alfred and Helen (Lubbers) Meyer. Janice married Robert L. Nubbymyer on October 6, 1990. Robert passed away on May 30, 2002. She was a member of Evangelical Free Church in Deerfield. Janice enjoyed listening to music and spending time with her dogs. Her faith always played an important role in her life. Surviving are two brothers, Richard (Judy) Meyer of Freeport and Larry (Susan) Meyer of Oro Valley, Arizona; and sister-in-law, Lousie Meyer of Roanoke, Illinois. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Dr. Ronald Meyer. Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
