Janice R. Church

Janice R. Church, 67, of Ridott, died Monday, December 16, 2013, at Rockford Memorial Hospital. Janice was born on February 21, 1946 in Rockford, the daughter of Joel and Ruth (Kennedy) Moody. Janice worked at River Bluff Nursing Home as an accountant and bookkeeper. Surviving are her husband; Roy O'Dell Ferguson; father, Joel Moody; son, Lee Shane Gilliland "Gill" (Tami); daughter, Sarah (Bruce) Platt; brother, Larry Moody; three sisters, Merry (Joseph) Shane, Melissa Moody and Susan Taylor; brother, Joel (Carol) Moody III. Also surviving are six grandchildren, four nieces and three nephews. Janice was preceded in death by her mother. Visitation will be held Friday from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home, Freeport. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in her memory.
