Janice D. Crull

Janice D. Crull, 82, of Freeport, died, Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at FHN Memorial Hospital. Janice was born February 4, 1931, the daughter of Willis and Ethel (Henze) Vietmeyer. Janice was a 1948 graduate of Freeport High School. Janice married Vernon L. Dikkers on May 12, 1953. Mr. Dikkers died on January 28, 1981. Janice was a member of Cedarville United Methodist Church, Eagles Ladies Auxiliary, TOPS/KOPS, Happy Hatters and several card clubs. Janice was employed by Lee'™s Market and later Farm and Fleet. Surviving are daughters, Vicki (Michael) Thill of Lena and Patti (Dwain) Earnest of Freeport; grandchildren, Kristin (Troy) Tiesman, Ashley (Antonio) Jackson Jr., Sara (Brad) Daiker, Tyler Earnest; great-grandchildren, Addison and Lydia Tiesman and Alijah Jackson; sister-in-law, Phyllis Vietmeyer. Also surviving are nieces, Teresa Fryer and Sandy Brinkmeier; nephews, Mike and Randy Vietmeyer; and special pets, Bubbles and Bella. Janice was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Verlyn. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Cedarville United Methodist Church. Rev. Paul Gerardy will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the Church. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
