Janet J. Beverley Wales

Janet Beverley Wales 78, of Freeport, died Sunday April 26, 2015 in her home. Janet was born on June 26, 1936 in Freeport, the daughter of Kenneth and Alice (Weber) Beverley. Janet married Edwin W. Wales on October 17, 1953 in Freeport. Janet managed the Freeport and Rockford Skateland for many years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Janet's enjoyed spending time with her family and her dog, Chico. Surviving are her husband, Edwin Wales of Freeport; three sons, Michael (Elaine) Wales of Freeport, Kenneth Wales of Rockford, and Chuck (Diane) Lofgren of Freeport; one daughter, Deb (Ruben) Dowman of Cedarville; brother, Robert (Pat) Beverley of Monroe, WI.; 10 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, five sister-in-laws, and two brother-in-laws. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Janet was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Richard and Ronald; sister, Virginia Beel, and grandson, Bryan Lofgren. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home. Father Timothy Barr will officiate. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service.
