James Peter Miller

James Peter Miller, 44, of Freeport, died Thursday March 29, 2012 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 19, 1967 in Rockford, Il, he was the son of Judy Cook. James married Heidi Brinkmeier on December 22, 20009 in Freeport, Il. James was an avid Chicago Bears fan. Surviving James in death is his wife Heidi Miller of Freeport; two sons James (Stacy Moore) Miller Jr. of Colorado and Ben (Brenda) Brinkmeier of Freeport; his daughter Khailey Miller of Savanna, Il; his brother Joe (Jamie) Kortenkamp of Loves Park, Il; and two grandchildren Iziah and Jaylin both of Rockford, Il. He was preceded in death by his mother, one sister, and his grandparents. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 Tuesday April 3, 2012 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport. A visitation will be held from 9:00 until the time of service at Burke-Tubbs. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his memory.
