James L Halvorson

James L. Halvorson, 59, of Davis, died Saturday October 10, 2015 in his home. He was born September 23, 1956 in San Rafael, CA, the son of William and Patricia J. (von Trebra) Halvorson. He married Deborah Knowlton January 23, 1988. James worked in marketing for Halvorson Research Associates. He enjoyed nature hikes, fishing, and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. James is survived by his parents William and Patricia Halvorson of Naples, FL; his son Christopher (Jackie) Halvorson of Chandler, AZ; his daughter Lauren "Taylor" Halvorson of Tempe, AZ; his brother Robert M. Halvorson of Thousand Oaks, CA; three sisters Janet Raphael of East Rutherford, NJ, Audrey Halvorson of Bellingham, WA, and Kathy Halvorson of Brooklyn, NY; his grandson Andrew Halvorson; and his dog Baby. He was preceded in death by his wife and his grandparents. Cremation rites have been accorded. A date and time for a memorial service has yet to be determined.
