James "Jim" G. Schultz

James (Jim) G. Schultz, 73, of Freeport, passed away on January 25, 2022, at University of Wisconsin Hospital surrounded by his four beloved children. Jim was born January 12, 1950 in Freeport the son of Robert and Dorothy (Working) Schultz. Jim was raised on a farm in Red Oak, IL. He married Linda K. Stubble on June 1, 2001 in Red Oak. She preceded him in death on July 10, 2021. Jim retired from Kelly Springfield after 32 years of employment. He cherished the time he spent on the Stephenson County Board. Jim enjoyed farming, fishing and hunting. He also could be found gambling or watching western tv shows. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his four children, Amber (David) Dudeck of Matthews, NC, Jim (Heidi) Schultz of Fairfax, IA, Jessica (Bobby) Wunnicke of Dane, WI, and Tyler Schultz of Dane, WI; siblings, Mike Schultz and Robert Schultz of Tony, WI; Rick Schultz of Alabama, Barb Kolthoff of Lena and Cindy Rackow; ten grandchildren. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother, Stanley Schultz. Cremation Rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Jim's life will be held at a later date.
