James F. Twigg Jr.

James F. Twigg Jr., 67, of Freeport, died Monday July 6, 2015 in his home. James was born on November 18, 1947 in Cumberland, Maryland, the son of James and Audrey (Connor) Twigg Sr. He served in the Air Force from 1966-1970. James worked as an accountant and also did construction work. Surviving are two sons, James Scott Twigg of New, Orleans, Louisiana, and Troy Twigg of Dallas, Texas; daughter, Amye McKee of Port Arkansas, Texas; sister, Cheryl (Bill) Vogt of Freeport; grandchildren, Brittany, Hunter, Treonna, Little Jim, Breanna, Alexis, and Reonna; two nieces, Tawney Beck and Tina Riggle (also James Goddaughter), two nephews, Chad Winters and Chris Winters. Preceded in death by his parents, brother, Timothy Twigg; and wife, Dawn Twigg. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. July 11, 2015 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home.
