Jacqueline L. Stukenberg

Jacqueline (Jackie) Stukenberg 82 of Forreston IL. passed away Thursday January 27th 2022 at South Lake Hospital Clermont, FL surrounded by her children. She was born November 6th 1939 in Dixon IL. to Frank and Velma (Kuntzleman) Carr. Her father was a WWII Navy Veteran that served on the USS Columbia and Purple Heart recipient. On March 6 1959 she married the love of her life La Moine Stukenberg. She stayed home to raise 3 children and worked on the family farm for over 41 years. She was a member of Forreston United Methodist Church. Jackie enjoyed spending time with friends and especially her children and her grand and great-grandchildren where she would spend hours on the floor playing with them. She also enjoyed going up north riding snowmobiles and Sunday rides on the motorcycle and traveling in their motorhome to Florida every winter. she also loved spending time in her flower gardens. People would pull over on the road just to take pictures of her beautiful yard and flowers. Jackie is survived by her son, Darrel (Lori) Stukenberg of Forreston IL; daughters, Sheila (John) Carr of Freeport IL and Cindy (Joe) Bonnell of Dixon IL Brothers Denny (Jan) Carr of Yorkville IL and Steve (Sharon) Carr of Metamora IL; Eight grandchildren Shannon (Derrick) Schrader Minneapolis MN, Adam (Amy) Meyer South Beloit IL, Jennifer (special friend Shawn Klaus)Tucker of Freeport IL, Jenna Stukenberg Freeport IL, Dylan Stukenberg Forreston IL, Joey (Karley) Bonnell Dixon IL, Jessica (Zack) Lowry Oregon IL and Jacob Bonnell Dixon IL; Nine great-grandchildren Saige and Maleia Tucker, Elijah and Addie Meyer, Aiden Parker and Braylon Tinsley, Alaina and Quinn Bonnell and Harper Lowry. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; in-laws, Margaret and Donald Stukenberg; brother, Bob Carr; Sister, Joan Hunziker; brother-in-law and sister in law Marsdon and Barb Stukenberg and grandson Kyle Tucker. At our mothers request a private family service and visitation will be held at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home. Freeport. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport.
