Ilean Mitchell

Ilean M. Mitchell, 86, of Leaf River, died Sunday, July 14, 2013 at Home. She was born on November 4, 1926 In Polo, IL., the daughter of Paul and Lillian (Smith) Newcomer Sr. Ilean did housecleaning and was a homemaker. She married Paul Mitchell on August 26, 1955 in Polo. He died on September 4, 1992. Ilean enjoyed Gardening and flowers. Survivors include her son John (Wendy) Mitchell Ft. Smith, Ark.; four daughters, Elizabeth 'Joan' (Curt Hazelwood) Voegeli of Leaf River, Gail (Marvin) Ludwig of Polo, Lucinda 'Cindy' Mitchell of Leaf River and Lila Mitchell of Oregon; and one grandson Trent Robinson. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and one son, Mac Newcomer. Memorial service will be held July 29, 2013 at White Oak Cemetery at 11 a.m. Rev.
