Herman Cornelius Wiersum

Herman Cornelius Wiersum, 89, of Crystal Lake, IL passed away Wednesday January 27, 2021 at Sunrise of Crystal Lake. He was born May 23, 1931 in Berwyn, IL to Edward and Anna (Bebingh) Wiersum. On July 16, 1955 he married Mary Jane Aughenbaugh in Dixon, IL. Herman was employed at AT&T as an engineer. He was a member of the Christian Reformed Church. He is survived by his son Edward (Pamela); two daughters Susan and Sharon; brother Jacob; six grandchildren Cassandra, James, Thomas, Samantha, Max, and Dean; and one great-granddaughter Zoe. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and three brothers John, Edward, and Bernard. Private family services will be held. Entombment will be in Oakland Cemetery and Mausoleum. A memorial has been established in his memory.
