Grace E. Becker

Grace E. Becker, 98, of Freeport, died Thursday May 19, 2016 in the Stephenson Nursing Center. She was born November 26, 1917 in Philip, South Dakota, the daughter of Garret and Jane (White) Sichterman. Grace married Allen Becker on July 1, 1946 in Rapid City, South Dakota. Mr. Becker passed away on August 4, 2001. Grace worked in sales at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Surviving are son Jim Becker of Freeport; two grandsons Jeff Becker of Baileyville and Brian Becker of England; and two great grandsons Cole Becker and Dalton Becker. Grace was preceded in death by parents, husband, three brothers, four sisters, her infant twins at birth, and daughter-in-law Nancy. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday May 23, 2016 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home, Freeport. Apostle Don Lyon will officiate. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
