Glynn D. Morgan

Glynn D. Morgan, 72, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at FHN Hospital in Freeport Il.. Glynn was born September 2, 1947 in Fulton Tennessee to William and Mary Morgan. Though born in Tennessee, Glynn spent most of his life in Freeport. He was an avid freshwater fisherman, automotive enthusiast, and tinkerer. Glynn was a proud father of five daughters, a loving brother and doting son. He enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his loved ones. He was the calm in the storm. Never intrusive or overbearing, he was a pillar of strength at the center of the Morgan family and a cherished friend. He is survived by his mother Mary Morgan of Freeport; three Daughters, Irsha Van and husband Rodney Van of San Diego, CA, Cheyenne Morgan and husband John "Cuban" Wagle of Oklahoma City, OK, Ashanti Gile and husband Trevor Gile of Stockton IL; two brothers, Lynn Morgan of Freeport and Rex Morgan and wife Jennifer Morgan of Milwaukee WI; two sisters, Rhonda Pearson of Freeport and Carolyn Morgan of Springfield Il.; Granddaughters LaCharie Wilson and Monique Van, Grandsons Xavier Van, Sam and Glynn Wagle, greatgrandchildren and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and lifelong friends. Glynn was preceded in death by his father, William Morgan; brother, Ricky Morgan; and two daughters, Anita Wilson and Glynda Morgan. A Celebration of Life event will be held at a later date.
