Glenn G. Dietmeier Jr.

Glenn G. Dietmeier Jr., 84, of Cedarville, IL passed away Sunday December 27, 2020 at Pearl Pavillion in Freeport. He was born May, 15, 1936 in Orangeville, IL the son of Glenn Sr. and Burnetta (Smuck) Dietmeier. He attended Orangeville High School. On May 25, 1957 he married Bernice M. Knoll in Freeport. Bernice passed away February 21, 2015. He was a member of Cedarville Emmanuel Church. Glenn was on the Cedarville Fire Department for 45 years. He enjoyed collecting tractors and baseball hats. Glenn enjoyed taking trips to Branson, MO and listening to country music. He is survived by his son Larry Dietmeier of Freeport, IL; three grandchildren Jenna Leverton of Lanark, IL, Jeremy (Ashley) Dietmeier of Freeport, IL and Tania (Jason) Dietmeier of Lena, IL; and five great-grandchildren Torey, Olyvia, Mason, Madisyn, and Kynzie. Preceding Glenn in death is his parents and wife. Private family services will be held. Burial will be in Cedarville Cemetery. A memorial has been established in his memory.
