Gladys P. Lohman, 88, of Freeport, died Thursday February 10, 2011 at FHN Memorial Hospital. Gladys was born on June 6, 1922 in Holland, Michigan, the daughter of Ted G. and Marie (Siersma) Bos. On September 17, 1942, Gladys and Rev. Donald Lohman were married in Zeeland Michigan. Rev. Lohman died on January 13, 2000. Gladys worked as a bookkeeper and was an active member of the Baileyville Reformed Church, Baileyville RCWM and the Baileyville Missionaries. Survivors include; three sons; James P. (Diane) Lohman of Freeport, Mark A. (Myrna) Lohman of Byron and Phillip J. (Gigi) Lohman of Fargo, North Dakota, one daughter, Wanetta M. ( Aldo) Crose of Dunedin, Florida. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 7 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one sister and one brother. Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday February 17, 2011 in the Baileyville Reformed Church with Rev. James Stralow officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport. There will also be a visitation Thursday from 10:00 A.M. to time of service at the Baileyville Reformed Church. Family Interment will be at a later date.
