Gerald "Jerry" W. Casper

Gerald "Jerry" W. Casper, 79, of Freeport, passed away, Monday March 8, 2021 at Swedish American Hospital, Rockford. Jerry was born January 18, 1942 in Freeport, the son of Thomas and Jean (Garrity) Casper. Jerry was a 1960 graduate of Aquin High School. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. He enjoyed boating, water skiing, working with electronics and cars. Jerry owned and operated Quick Print Print Shop. Surviving is his three brothers, Stephen P. (Liz) Casper of Rockford, Thomas R. (Debbie) Casper of Beloit, Wisconsin, and James D. (Lisa) Casper of Eau Claire, Wisconsin; two sisters, Nancy J. (Lou) Fogg of Geneva, and Mary Sue (Frank) Nelson of Freeport. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday March 16, 2021 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Fr. Joel Lopez will officiate. No visitation will be held.
