Gary R. Ross

Gary R. Ross, 61, of Freeport,died Sunday, October 20, 2013 in his home. Born on July 15, 1952 in Freeport to Dorothy M. and Arthur R. Ross Sr. Gary married Patricia on July 1, 2011. Gary was a member of the Freeport Church of Christ. He was also employed by Northwestern Illinois Community Action Agency (NICAA) and was the coordinator of the "Golden Meals" He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Patricia A. Brown; sons, Xavier Brown of Freeport, Gary Ross Jr. and Terry (Jessica) Ross of Springfield, Il., Harper A. Ross of Dallas, Texas; a host of sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Douglas C. Ross. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Church of Christ. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
