Gary L. Breeze

Gary L. Breeze, 72, of Ridott died Tuesday at F.H.N. Memorial Hospital, Freeport. He was born August 18, 1941 in Freeport, Illinois, the son of William and Dorothy (Seiberhagen) Breeze. He married Ann M. Helwig in 1983 at Rockford, Illinois. Mr. Breeze was employed by Seward Screw Company, retiring in 2004. He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church of Shannon. He enjoyed riding his Gold Wing motorcycle and hunting. Mr. Breeze is survived by his wife Ann; of Ridott. His son; Terry Breeze of Baileyville . His daughter; Vicky (Jeffrey) Mathew of Shannon. His twin brother; Joe (Linda) Breeze of Janesville, Wis. Eight grandchildren; Christopher, Nicholas, Justin, Rustin and Derrick Breeze. Justin (Amy) Mathew, Jenna Mathew, and Sarah (Chris) Flikkema. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son; Billy; his sister; Betty and his brother; Harold. A memorial service for Mr. Breeze will be held Saturday, 2:00 P.M. at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home, Freeport. Rev. Steve Aram, pastor of Bethel United Methodist Church will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until time of service at Burke-Tubbs. Burial of cremains will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. A memorial has been established in his name.
