Frank S. Weber

Frank S. Weber, 73, of Freeport, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023 at FHN Memorial Hospital. Frank was born March 4, 1949 in Clinton, Iowa the son of Gerald and Vera (Haferbier) Weber. He married Brenda Finn on September 11, 1971. Frank served in the United States National Guard for 6 years. He was a trained barber, owning his own shop, before going on to servicing industrial electric motors. Throughout his life he took many classes in the trades, and was often referred to as a jack of all trades, master to none. Frank spent many years working for Knollwood Estates, and loved to help anyone in need. There really wasn't anything he couldn't fix or do. He was very caring and encouraging to the people he loved, and could spend hours talking to his children on the phone. After retiring He and Brenda enjoyed hosting at St . Andrew's State Park in Panama City, FL. Frank loved time with his family, fishing, walks on the beach, or working on endless projects around the house. A friend to all who met him, he will be greatly missed. Frank is survived by his wife Brenda Weber of Freeport; two children, Shawn Weber of Victoria, TX and Kerry Weber of Freeport; five grandchildren, John Weber, Samantha Gossage, Payton Thompson, Madelyn Weber, Amanda Weber; four siblings, Janice Rutenbeck, Larry Weber, Jerry Weber, Leana Gravert; along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00pm-4:00pm, on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home 504 North Walnut Avenue Freeport, IL 61032.
