Florence G. Casey

Florence G. Casey, 98, of Freeport, died, Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Presence St. Joseph Center. Florence was born July 28, 1917, the daughter of Harold and Hallie (Moses) Fink. Florence married Raymond Casey on April 7, 1940 in Orangeville. Mr. Casey passed away on October 15, 1997. Florence was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Florence was a wonderful mother and grandmother, her family was everything to her. Surviving are son, Larry (Sue) Casey of Freeport, two daughters, Judy (Mike) Cook of Freeport and Marilyn (Wally) Andrus of North Liberty, Iowa; daughter-in-law, Eva Casey of Panama City, Florida; 12 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. Florence was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Russell Casey; two sisters, Corinne Howarth and Virginia Fink; and two brothers, Robert Fink and Kenneth Fink. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday October 2, 2015 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Fr. Kenneth Anderson will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at St. Thomas. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Florence's memory.
