Evelyn M. Christensen

Evelyn M. Christensen, 85, of Freeport, died Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Stephenson Nursing Center. Evelyn was born March 28, 1932 in Redwood Falls, Minnesota, the daughter of Gustav and Margaret (Bechtoldt) Englund. Evelyn married Donald Christensen on August 1, 1958. Mr. Christensen preceded her in death in 1972. Evelyn was a 1950 graduate of Aquin High School and a 1953 graduate St. Anthony School of Nursing. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and St. Anthony Nursing Alumni Association. Evelyn has no immediate survivors. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother, Robert. Services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday February 1, 2018 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home.
