Evelyn L. Green

Evelyn L. Green, 90, of Freeport, passed away, Friday, November 5, 2021, at FHN Memorial Hospital. Evelyn was born October 22, 1931, in Freeport, the daughter of John and Florence (Brahms) Daughenbaugh. Evelyn married Duane H. Green on July 9, 1966. Mr. Green passed away September 5, 1983. Evelyn's world revolved around her family; any time spent with family were her favorites. She enjoyed sitting around the kitchen table with family and friends enjoying a cup of coffee, listening to the scanner and catching up on all the latest events. Evelyn was a Chicago Bulls fan and would always follow them. Surviving is her son, Randall (Vicki) Green of Freeport; daughter, Debra (Roger) Davis of Freeport; six grandchildren, Alana, Cole, Brendon, Daniel, Corey (Melissa), and Alyssa. Also surviving are six great grandchildren. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two siters, and two brothers. Funeral services 11:00 am Friday, November 12, 2021 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home. Visitation 9:30 am until the time of service. Pastor Don Jamerson will officiate. Burial will be Grandview Cemetery.
