Evelyn D. Mccully

Evelyn D. McCully, a former Freeport resident died, March 12, 2013, at Palm City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Palm City, Fl. She was born March 3, 1918 in Freeport, Illinois, the daughter of Simon and Alta (Heeren) Wilhelms. Mrs. McCully was a graduate of Freeport High School. Evelyn married William P. McCully on October 4, 1942 in Freeport, Illinois. He died April 1, 1991. She moved to Hollywood, Fl. in 1957. She is survived by her children: Sherrie (Robert) Grob of Murphysboro, IL., Janice (William) Dopman of Palm City, Fl. And Craig (Karla) McCully of Peoria, Az. Five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, the Shrinettes Shrine club, and the Does. Graveside services will be Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at Oakland Cemetery, Freeport, Illinois. Arrangements are being completed by Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home.
