Erma F. Derr

Erma F. Derr, 73, of Freeport, died Friday February 24, 2012 in Beloit, Wisconsin. Erma was born on December 5, 1938 in Darlington, WI, the daughter of Eugene and Mildred (Paynter) Cullen. Erma married Eldon Derr on March 15, 1965 in Darlington, WI; Eldon died on November 24, 1975. Erma was a longtime employee of Micro Switch-Honeywell before retiring in 1998. She enjoyed working on the computer, reading and cooking. Survivors include three sons; Allen Cullen of Freeport, Dennis (Teresa) Derr of Freeport and Brian Derr of Freeport, daughter; Melanie Derr of Rockford, two brothers; Gary (Olivia) Cullen of Janesville, WI and Robert (Peg) Cullen of Blanchardville, WI, two sisters; Jeanette Raisbeck of Beloit, WI, and Barbara Jean Bluemel of Sandy, UT;Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Erma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday February 29, 2012 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport with Rev. Scott Nesse officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday February 28, 2012 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. also at Burke Tubbs. Burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
