Emmitt D. Foster, 85, of Adeline died Saturday at Polo Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Polo, Illinois. He was born July 12, 1927 in McDonald West Va., the son of Wesley and Martha (Burgess) Foster. Mr. Foster worked as a Coal Miner in West Virginia and then was employed By Midwest Concrete in Franklin Park for 30 Years. Emmitt married Clara Ginger on February 19, 1999 in Adeline, Illinois. Mr. Foster enjoyed fishing, bird watching, music, picnics and spending time with his family. In addition to his wife, Mr. Foster is survived by two stepsons, David (Sandy) Ginger; of Monroe Center and Richard (Betty) Ginger of Polo. Three stepdaughters, Estella (James) Miller; of Forreston, Barbara (Clyde) Hull; Of Forreston and Bonnie (John) Oltmanns of Polo. Two brothers, James E. (Sue) Foster; of Thornton, Ill. and Charles H. (Sue) Foster; of Owensboro, Ky.; Grand Children, Robert (Maria) Ginger, Brenda Ginger, Angie Miller, Peggy (Scott) McNeilly, Chris (Sherri) Ginger, Richard (Heather) Ginger Jr., Patty (Jason) Colgan and Amy (Craig) Branscomb; Great Grand Children, Brian Ginger, Brandon Ginger, Robert Ginger Jr., Ryan McNeilly, Lyndsey McNielly, Jacob Howald, Michaela Howald, Gabriel Ginger, Owen Ginger and Abbygail Branscomb. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, five sisters and a Great Grand Children Parichart Ginger. A funeral service for Mr. Foster will be Wednesday, 1:00 P.M. in Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home, 203 3rdAve. Forreston, Ill. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at Burke-Tubbs.
