Eloise E. Roth

Eloise E. Roth, 86, a long time resident of Freeport went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 3rd. She was born in LaSalle, Illinois on July 27, 1924, the daughter of Alfred and Anna (Glynn) Ferguson. Eloise married Glen Roth on February 20, 1944 in Freeport. He died July 29, 2001. Mrs. Roth devoted her life to being a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Eloise enjoyed playing bridge, dancing and spending time with her family and many friends. She was a member of Embury United Methodist Church since 1938. Mrs. Roth is survived by her son Larry (LuAnn) Roth of West Bend, Wisconsin and her daughter Diane (Ronald) Madden of Freeport. Four grandchildren; Wade Madden, Christopher (Jen) Madden, Jesse Madden and Emily Ann Roth, four great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband of 57 years she was preceded in death by her brother Robert and sister Shirley Leary. A service to celebrate Mrs. Roth'™s life will be held Saturday, 2:00 P.M. at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home, Freeport. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until time of service at the funeral home.
