Ellen Johnson

Ellen G. Johnson, 54, of Freeport, died Saturday, June 1, 2013 in her home. She was born on June 24, 1958 in Freeport, the daughter of Jerry and Ruth Palmer (Wisdom) Dunson. Ellen worked a short time at Micro Switch and Swiss Colony. She was married to Tommie Johnson. Survivors include her husband, her mother, six brothers, Jerry (Susan) Dunson, Jackie (Jewel) Dunson, Joseph (Ionia) Dunson, Clark Palmer, Charles Palmer and Maurice Palmer, one sister Rozlyn Dunson. A memorial service will be noon, Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Mt. Carmel MBC Church. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Rev. Charles Threadgill will officiate.
