Eleanor S. Bounds

Eleanor S. Bounds, 91, of Naperville, and a former Freeport resident, died Friday March 21, 2014 in her home. She was born on July 4, 1922 in West Salem, WI, the daughter of Fred and Elizabeth (Wehrenberg) Sprain. She married Clyde H. Bounds on February 9, 1952 in West Salem. WI; he died on August 6, 2003. Eleanor worked at Micro Switch and Wal-Mart. She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. Eleanor is survived by her son Brian (Anna) Bounds of Naperville, IL; her brother Russell Sprain of West Salem, WI; and four Grandchildren Brekke, Nickolas, Alexander, and Sofia Bounds. Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son Bruce, and four brothers. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday March 26, 2014 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Freeport, with Pastor Mark Luepke officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 P.M. Tuesday at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport. Burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport. A memorial has been established in her memory.
