In loving memory of Eleanor Ferguson

Today, we gather to honor and celebrate the beautiful life of Eleanor Ferguson, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Born on August 25th, 1927 Eleanor’s journey through life was marked by love devotion, and countless cherished memories.

Eleanor dedicated her life to her family, raising three wonderful children, Tom Jr., Sally Jo, and David. She and her beloved husband, Tom Sr., shared a bond that was unbreakable, but built on a foundation of love and commitment. Together, they created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering support.

A pilar of her community, Eleanor was a loyal churchgoer and found solace and strength in her faith. She exemplified kindness and compassion in all that she did, touching the lives of those around her with her gentle spirit and generous heart.

One of Eleanor’s greatest joys was spending time with her family, especially watching her grandson Chad Hoskinson shine on the baseball and basketball courts. Whether cheering from the sidelines or sharing stories over a family meal, Eleanor cherished every moment with her loved ones.

Throughout her life, Eleanor found joy in simple pleasures, from traveling to Florida with her family, to swimming at Fitness Lifestyles, to playing cards with dear friends and savoring meals at her favorite restaurants. Her zest for life and unwavering optimism brought light to even the darkest of days.

Though Eleanor may no longer be with us in body, her legacy of love, kindness, and resilience will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. As we bid farewell to our beloved Eleanor, let us take comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with her beloved Tom Sr. and that their love will endure for eternity.

Rest in peace, dear Eleanor. You will be deeply missed, but your spirit will continue to shine bright in our memories forevermore.

Eleanor is survived by her two children Sally (Steve) Hoskinson and their children Chad (Tiffany) and Brandi and David (Debra) Ferguson and their children Amanda, Melanie, and Ben; and 13 great grandchildren Anthony Johnson, Caden Johnson, Brittany Hoskinson, Lauren Ferguson, Logan Ferguson, Alec Holton, Simon Holton, Frederick “Fritz” Holton, Hannah Halvorsen, Maya King, Makenzie King, Carter Ferguson, and Bryant Ferguson.
