Eldon L. Labudde

Eldon L. LaBudde, 93, of Freeport died Friday October 20, 2017 at FHN Memorial Hospital. He was born September 2, 1924 in Ogle County, Illinois the son of John and Emma (Rodermond) LaBudde. Eldon married Rogene Meyer on April 16, 1946 in Baileyville, IL. He worked for 17 years at Structo Manufacturing Company and 17 years at Newell Rubermaid. He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church where he also was a church trustee. Eldon was an avid Cub and Bear fan and also enjoyed fishing and hunting. He is survived by his wife Rogene; son, David LaBudde of Madison, WI; and two grandchildren Christopher LaBudde of Madison, WI and Lorissa LaBudde also of Madison, WI. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday October 25, 2017 at Faith United Methodist Church with Rev. Larry Thompson officiating. A visitation will be held from noon until the time of service at the church. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. A memorial has been established in his memory.
