Edward Christopher Collins

Edward Christopher Collins 57 of Madison, Wisconsin born January 4, 1965 departed this life on Friday June 24, 2022 in Madison Wisconsin birth place of his grandmother Cynthia Carter. He was the third child of Edward and Pauletta Collins. Chris was baptized at an early age at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Robert Huff. Chris enjoyed being around family and friends, laughing, telling jokes, lying, and going to the casino. Chris was a fun person to be around. In Madison, he was known as CC, Papa, Cadillac, and Dog. Chris leaves many precious memories to be cherished by his parents Edward and Pauletta Collins, brothers; Clifton Collins of Freeport, IL., Kendrick (Tricia) Collins of Roscoe, IL. And Curtis Ellis of Wisconsin. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and his special friend Erica Lee of Madison, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his sister Arlette K. Horde, great niece MaLaysia Wade, uncle Henry Carter Jr., maternal grandparents Henry and Cynthia Carter Sr., paternal grandparents Willie and Annie Collins. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday July 1, 2022 at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. A visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Burial will be in Freeport City Cemetery.
