Edna Bertsch

Edna Bertsch 93, died Friday January 4, 2013 at Swedish Covenant Hospital, Chicago, IL of heart complications. She was born July 11, 1919 in Struble, IA to Edward and Clara (Mayer) Albert. She married Philip Bertsch (deceased) on February 14, 1946 in Galena, IL. She is survived by one daughter, Patricia (Eloy) Burciaga of Chicago, two grandsons, David (Valentina) and Robert Burciaga, and a great-granddaughter Ana Sofia. Edna enjoyed life to the fullest with her family and friends. She particularly loved her time together with her one year old great-granddaughter this past year. She lived in Freeport, Mt. Morris, Polo, Rockford, and Chicago. Graveside funeral services will be held at Oakland Cemetery, Freeport, IL on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 1pm. There will be no visitation.
